Our eggs come from free range chickens. We have about 24 birds (depending on fox activity) that inhabit a fenced in area to protect them from predators and keep them away from our vegetable crops. We supplement heir foraging with laying mash from Big Valley Feed and Grain in Belleville, so our eggs are not certified organic. Occasionally, we will buy eggs from Hares Valley Growers to supplement our supply.
