High Tunnel Tomatoes
It’s only the middle of June but we have tomatoes setting fruit in the high tunnel. So far it looks like a good year for tomatoes, but lets not count our blessing quite yet. That’s not what farmers do. It’s taken a lot of pruning to keep these plants under control. You’ll notice the perfect clusters of fruit along a single stem. This is not the natural state of a tomato. It’s the demented insistence of humans that everything should follow a straight path.
