I sent this picture to my son Jake thinking he might be a little nostalgic for his rural roots. Hong Kong has its own peculiar signage based on interesting interpretations of the English language – as do many Asian cultures. But our own signs can be just as baffling to outsiders who don’t understand the significance of fishing season. Some folks might be a little offended by this post and be thinking, “Yeah, well. Why wouldn’t I want to buy fresh worms for the first day of trout season?”
